The ¹ú²úºÚÁÏU Board of Trustees is pleased to welcome Trustee Emeritus Edward Tessier back to the board.
Ed Tessier is a multifaceted leader dedicated to urban revitalization and disability rights. As Vice President of Arteco Partners, he has spearheaded the redevelopment of numerous Inland Empire downtowns, including the Claremont Packing House, Riverside Food Lab, Vail HQ, and Pomona Arts Colony.
A quadriplegic himself, Tessier is a passionate advocate for accessibility and has led successful campaigns to expand access to the built environment and quality healthcare. His commitment to education is evident in his leadership roles at various schools and his co-founding of the School of Arts and Enterprise, a top-ranked school preparing creative individuals for business success.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College, Tessier’s expertise in urban planning and community development is sought after through his frequent lectures and service on numerous boards and commissions. Ed Tessier previously served on the ¹ú²úºÚÁÏU board from March 2004-April 2008, when he was granted emeritus status.
The ¹ú²úºÚÁÏU Board of Trustees has expanded significantly in recent years. This growth has enriched the board with diverse expertise and experience. The addition of Ed Tessier further strengthens our leadership and brings invaluable insights into urban planning, disability rights, and education. His extensive experience and passion for community development will undoubtedly contribute to ¹ú²úºÚÁÏU’s continued success.
